At Plainview Films, we have two main aims: to develop and produce narrative and documentary projects and to help give the independent filmmaking scene in Scotland a much-needed shot in the arm. For us, one is dependent on the other. Only by encouraging fresh talent can new and exciting projects flourish at a time when digital equipment is more accessible, but funding opportunties are ever dwindling. Our projects and collaborations have been selected for funding, won awards and been screened at festivals across the world.

• We can Dry Hire our equipment package at unbeatable prices.
• We can also Wet Hire the equipment at discounted rates if you want to employ our in-house cinematographer and/or crew.
• Whether you’re an individual, school or community group, isn’t it time you gave one of our basic filmmaking workshops a go?
• If you’re in a band or theatre group, why not hire us to film your performance or shoot a music video.
